They should then go to the activity location with their boarding pass (self-printed boarding pass, electronic boarding pass or Self Check-in Machine boarding pass) to participate in the Capsule Prize Draw. Participants will have a chance to win a creative Taiwanese product, and a free flight ticket every week (flight ticket winners must pay for war risk insurance, airport taxes and fuel surcharges themselves). ★Notes: 1. To ensure you catch the flight in time, please arrive at least 1.5 hours before the departure time for the draw. 2. Flight ticket winners must fill-out their relevant information upon winning their prize and ensure that this information is true and correct. If the winner refuses to provide information, or if the information provided is incorrect, they then have infringed the rules and will not be qualified. If a winner is under 18, the copy of the front and back of winner’s ID, along with that of their parent’s or guardian’s, will be necessary as proof. 2. Winners will be given a “Taoyuan Airport Self Check-in Promotional Activity Air Ticket Voucher.” The winner may contact airline companies and use this voucher to redeem their air ticket. The air ticket is for personal use only and is not transferable or redeemable for cash or goods. 3. This air ticket does not include fuel and security surcharges, war risk insurance, taxes at either airport, or other additional expenses. In accordance with the Republic of China tax law, for prizes worth more than $1,000NT, it is compulsory to file a tax form and provide a copy of the front and back of an ID. If the winner is a resident of the ROC and the prize is worth more than $20,000NT, the winner must pay 10% tax. If the winner is not a resident in the ROC (citizen not having lived 183 days within the ROC and a non-citizen), then irrespective of prize worth, the winner must pay 20% in tax before receiving the prize. 6.
